The figure was revealed by EBRD office in Serbia chief Matteo Patrone, who spoke on Tuesday.

He added that the decision on the 2014 level of investments had not been made yet.

The investments in 2013 were 50 percent higher than in 2012 and were linked to 24 projects, 3 of which were in the public sector, Patrone stated presenting the 2013 EBRD Transition Report.

The EBRD has invested EUR 3.1 billion through 175 projects since its arrival in Serbia in 2001, he noted.

The EBRD is preparing a new 4-year strategy for Serbia, which will be based on three points, improving competitiveness of the private sector, and developing the financial and infrastructure sectors.
