KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Two members of the Kosovo police (KPS) were attacked and injured late on Thursday in the town of Leposavić in the north.

The two KPS members were treated for their injuries in the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica, the Beta news agency said.
KPS official Željko Bojić told Tanjug that the police searched five location in the wake of the incident "where suspects live, and a cafe bar owned by one of the suspects."
He said that four persons were detained and that minor charges were filed against them, and said the KPS would "in the future also react sharply in case its members are attacked."
