Vučić made the comments during his official visit to Croatia on Monday.
"We expect the final decision of Serbs from Kosovo. A referendum makes sense if they are ready to carry it out even if the result in unfavorable for them," he was quoted as telling reporters in Zagreb, when asked whether the referendum would be held.
Vučić also noted that he "offered his resignation and fall of the government" in case the agreement failed in a plebiscite. The government will not accept blackmail and "making of decisions on the referendum question in the streets," he noted.
"Anyone can make whatever decisions they like in the street, but in Serbia it is known where decision are made," said the first deputy prime minister, and explained that this was "in the institutions of the system," adding:
"In Serbia, the majority of citizens and people will decide, and not the minority that thinks they can abuse their position in various ways and threaten someone. We never have and never will accept threats and blackmail."

That does not count. It only counts when albanians are a minority in another country. Then that country belonges to them but when there is a minority group in Albania they are happy to be 'albanians'.

If you can fill our 20 thousand seat national stadium with the Greek minorities of Albania you have my undivided support. You know what? If you have that many Greeks I'll even come and sign a petition for independence and come and support you in your meetings. Albania has no army or anything that would prevent what you suggest. All it takes is the numbers, enough people to make it happen. The fact that 20 years have passes and you haven't even attempted to reach that goal says that the numbers simply aren't there. You have a bunch of Albanian peasants getting greek pensions by claiming to be greek; and when you hold all these meetings they don't show up. That's why you have empty rooms and can't reach nothing. Not because we are strong. Thankfully the Greek state is paying our peasants and pumping money into our economy, while their own people riot in the streets of Athens. I have cousins who have no connections with Greece whatsoever that get a pension from Greece. They go to AK meetings. Its an Albanian nationalistic political party. These are the people Greece pays pensions to. But go ahead count them in.

SHOUT OUTS. These same serbs want to rule over 96% of the Kosovan population, they seem to think they are the superior race or something.
It's time to dismantle the parallel structures and end financial and institutional support from Belgrade.

"...Vučić also noted that he "offered his resignation and fall of the government" in case the agreement failed in a plebiscite...."
Talking about blackmail, look at this turncoat. Who's using blackmail now? Vucic figures that since according to the polls he is the most popular politition, so now he's threatening his resignation AHEAD OF TIME if this "great deal" fails. Go home you sellout, and take that quissling partner of yours (Nikolic), who went down on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness with you!!
(ivan, 29 April 2013 17:10)
Mr Vučić, what about the Albanian minority in Serbia? They ignored the will of the majority and you are ready to accept what they want. Isn't that the blackmail? And what about the Hungarian minority tomorrow? Will you accept what they want against the will of the majority again? Where is it going to end? I think you know the answers but you don't care. Only Serbs are not allowed to go against the will of the majority, all the others are.

WOW, I can't believe how much spin these politicians are creating. They have accepted threats and blackmail from the EU/US/NATO but will never accept Serbs protecting their homeland? Simply amazing how quickly they have turned and abused their positions.
Yes, a referendum should be held and the Serbs from KiM are free to make their own decisions based on the result. We can be 100% sure that this referendum will be highly manipulated by the EU/US/NATO and their local NGOs.
Lets get the referendum roll on and if it goes against the KiM Serbs, let them secede themselves.
