The anniversary of the mass murder in "Ribnikar" was marked: a music and stage program was held. PHOTO/VIDEO
On this day in 2023, K. K. (13) killed ten people - nine children and a school guard - at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" primary school.
Eight students and a security guard were killed at the scene of the attack, while another seriously wounded girl later succumbed to her injuries. Several students and history teachers were wounded.
In the mass murder, which the thirteen-year-old started at 8:41, the following schoolchildren were killed: Mara Andjelković, Bojana Asović, Angelina Aćimović, Ana Božović, Adriana Dukić, Ema Kobiljski, Katarina Martinović, Sofija Negić, Andrija Čikić, and a school guard Dragan Vlahović.
A musical and stage program was held in the Student Cultural Center, and due to the limited space, citizens watch the event on a screen set up on Tašmajdan, as well as in a direct broadcast on Radio and Television of Serbia, N1 and Nova S televisions.
Beogradski sindikat released a song dedicated to the students of Ribnikar
The hip-hop band Beogradski sindikat released the song and music video "Angels live forever" in memory of the students of the elementary school "Vladislav Ribnikar" who tragically died on May 3, 2023.
A large number of citizens leave flowers and light candles in front of the school
In front of the school where the massacre took place, citizens leave white flowers and light candles in honor of the murdered children and the school guard.
Queues have formed, and people are waiting in silence to approach the school and pay their respects to the victims. Citizens are arriving in large numbers all the time.
A video beam was installed in the Tašmajdan Park
In the Tašmajdan park, the place where the murdered children grew up and which was their favorite place to play, a video beam was installed showing photos of the victims.
A Forum has begun on Tašmajdan, where citizens will be able to discuss issues related to the causes and consequences of the mass murders on May 3 and 4, 2023, with representatives of the Multidisciplinary Team for the Establishment of the Memorial Center.
