This office noted that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic signed during Ashton's visit to Belgrade on April 26 an agreement on security procedures for the exchange and protection of confidential information. This was a pre-condition for the participation of Serbian security forces in EU peace missions, said the statement.
