Authorities have finished searching two locations in Novi Sad, north of Belgrade, belonging to close relatives of Hague fugitive Goran Hadzic. According to reports, the search operations were launched in order to find evidence and leads that would indicate Hadzic's possible helpers, and assist in locating him. Hague fugitive's family homes searched The search came on the order of War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic, said a prosecution statement. Reports said that the house belonging to Hadzic's sister was searched. He escaped from there in 2004 shortly before he was to be arrested. The former political leader of Serbs in Croatia was indicted by the Hague Tribunal the same year for crimes against humanity and violations of laws and customs of war.
