Serbia's national football team's direct qualification for the 2010 World Cup has caused celebrations in all the major towns in the country. The 5-0 triumph against Romania, which propelled the team to the championships to be held in South Africa next year, saw Belgraders take it to the streets late on Saturday. Serbians celebrate football squad success They greeted the bus that took the team from the stadium, with streets around the city's central square blocked by people. No incidents were reported as thousands celebrated in the streets throughout Serbia: in Nis, Kosovska Mitrovica, Cacak, and also in Banja Luka.
