The Hague Tribunal has subpoenaed two witnesses in the trial of Croatian Generals Ante Gotovina, Mladen Markac, and Ivan Cermak. One of the witnesses is Special Police Commander Zdravko Janic, while the other is to receive protective measures. Janic was at the time head of the special police’s anti-terrorist sector, and commanded the front line of attack and cleansing operations during Operation Storm, says the Hague Tribunal.
