According to the International Swimming Federation FINA's recently adopted rules, a transgression of the kind reportedly committed by Radjen will result in four years suspension "from any sporting activity."

In a message posted on Twitter, Radjen confirmed that FINA had sent the preliminary results of the doping test he took in Madrid, Spain, to the Serbian water polo association, VSS, and added he would not be making any statements "until the procedure has finished."

Radjen played for Greece's Olympiakos last year, and considering that he is 30 years old, a 4-year suspension may well end his professional career.

His absence would also deal a blow to the Serbian national team at the upcoming FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
