16 new baby incubators have been donated to the Institute for Neonatology thanks to companies that donated funds in B92 Fund’s Battle for Babies campaign. Funds for 160 new incubators have been raised so far and the Institute for Neonatology has gotten the biggest donation. Institute for Neonatology gets 16 new incubators The Institute treats the most difficult cases of prematurely born babies from the entire Serbia and the region. This is the first time after many years that the hospital will have 33 new incubators. After 15 years the Institute’s medical staff will not have to worry about the state of the incubators. The next change, that will allow appropriate rooms for the new incubators, is a reconstruction of an attic above the intensive care unit. Football player Nenad Kovacevic was the first to place a plate with Red Star FC’s name and was followed by representatives of other companies, including Mozzart Bet company, Air Traffic Control, lakodoposla.org and KBC Bank. Serbia will for the first time mark the World Prematurity Day on November 17. The Battle for Babies campaign will become a foundation that will in the future provide help to health institutions across Serbia in their fight for the lives of prematurely born babies.
