Republic of Srpska (RS) President Rajko Kuzmanovic praised the so-called Prud agreement signed by the three ruling parties in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Kuzmanovic described the deal as "good and long-term", and said that continued meetings between leaders of the ruling parties, Milorad Dodik (SNSD), Suljeman Tihic (SDA) and Dragan Covic (HDZ), "represents a continuation of the realization of this agreement". RS president hails Bosnian political agreement The creators of the deal, which was reached late last year, Dodik, Tihic and Covic, agreed yesterday that a new meeting would be held on January 26 in Banja Luka with the goal of finding ways to implement the regulations of this document. Tihic said that changes in the Bosnia-Herzegovina constitution will also be discussed at the meeting. “I expect that the three leaders will meet n Banja Luka to confirm the regulations of the Prud agreement and to further explain other questions such as state property, over which there are some disagreements,” Kuzmanovic said. He added that the plan cannot be realized as quickly as some think. The agreement pertains to state property, census, constitutional changes and solving the legal status of the Brcko district. Kuzmanovic said that the question of state property needs further clarification because it is unacceptable for some property to be recorded as the property of Bosnia-Herzegovina "and then written over to other subjects". According to the RS president, those assets which belong to the Serb entity must be recorded as the property of the Republic of Srpska, not Bosnia-Herzegovina.
