Speaker of the Serbian Parliament Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and her Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani met today in Tehran, reports said. They concluded that the cooperation between the two parliaments should to be " further stimulated". Djukic-Dejanovic, who is in Iran on Larijani's invitation, also met with that country's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. Djukic-Dejanovic thanked the Iranian government for its stand on Kosovo and Metohija, which is founded on their respect for the basic principles of international law and the UN Charter, the statement concluded.
