The Czech government has not made a decision to recognize Kosovo’s unilaterally proclaimed independence today. It was stated at a government meeting Wednesday in Prague that the question is based on a “sensitive and controversial topic". It is still not unclear when the proposal, made by Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, to vote on the recognition of Kosovo’s unilateral independence is expected to take place.
