The person admitted to the Vojvodina Clinical Center in Novi Sad with symptoms of swine flu has been given the all clear, doctors say. The woman taken in for tests in Novi Sad has not contracted swine ‘flu, doctors have confirmed. Swine flu case is false alarm Vojvodina Clinical Center spokeswoman Gordana Umicevic confirmed that the women had not been infected with the new H1N1 flu virus. Umicevic said that the woman had recently returned from Texas, where cases of the ‘flu have been reported, so she wanted to be tested. The tests confirmed that the woman was not suffering from swine ‘flu, which has taken several lives in Mexico and the U.S. Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic said earlier that one woman had been admitted to the Vojvodina Clinical Centre exhibiting symptoms that could be those of swine flu. The patient was a 71-year-old women who arrived in Serbia from the U.S. several days ago, Milosavljevic said while visiting the Institute for Infectious and Tropical Diseases in Belgrade.
