A scenario for Kosovo's future

The document will administratively open the door for a European Union mission to enter Kosovo in June of next year, Blic’s unnamed source stated. The daily claims that its source is also well informed on the status discussions being held in Vienna.

The daily’s source said that the new resolution will be very different.

“In a legal sense it will replace Resolution 1244, which guarantees the territorial sovereignty and integrity of Serbia in Kosovo. However, the new resolution does not mention that these rights will be taken away from Serbia. The document simply will not mention Serbia’s sovereignty anywhere. However, Kosovo becoming independent or a nation of its own will not be mentioned either.” Blic’s source said.
