Beta quoted director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Zorana Markovic, who said that all reports delivered to the agency in person by the end of business hours or by mail over the next few days and postmarked Feb. 1 would be accepted. The law envisages fines between RSD 10,000 and 50,000 for tardiness, but also prison sentences from six months to five years for officials who fail to report their property, give out false information or conceal information. If an official is convicted, they will be fired from their posts and be banned from any public office for ten years from the date of the conviction.
