The trial for the murder of more than 200 Croatian war prisoners at Ovcara farm continued today behind closed doors. A witness, who started to testify yesterday, asked the court for greater security measures, and for his testimony to be heard behind closed doors. Ovcara trial continues behind closed doors In late 2006, the Supreme Court overturned the original first instance sentences in their entirety and returned the case for a new trial, which started in March last year. A year earlier, the war crimes chamber had issued long prison sentences to 14 individuals found guilty of the crimes. Two defendants were acquitted. Miroljub Vujovic, Stanko Vujanovic, Milan Lancuzanin, Jovica Peric, Ivan Atanasijevic, Predrag Madzarac, Milan Vojinovic, Predrag Milojevic, Vujo Zlatar, Goran Mugosa, Djordje Sosic, Miroslav Djankovic, Predrag Dragovic, Nada Kalaba, Slobodan Katic and Marko Ljuboja are accused of the murder of 200 Croatians prisoners-of-war in November 1991. The trial continues tomorrow.
