BELGRADE President Tomislav Nikolic, First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ivica Dacic discussed solutions for Kosovo for several hours on Friday. The meeting ended around 17:00 CET. Senior Serbian officials confer on Kosovo Nikolic, Dacic and Vucic did not give any statements after the meeting. The three top officials held the meeting so they could have a united stance on the issue, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) has learned. Belgrade has until 16:00 on Tuesday to inform Brussels whether it accepts an agreement with Pristina or not. A session of the Serbian government was held earlier on Friday. The prime minister informed ministers about the situation regarding the dialogue with Pristina. B92 has learned that “intensive” diplomatic activities are underway and that they will last until the final decision is released. Presidential advisor Marko Djuric said earlier on Friday that the final decision would be based on a “detailed assessment” of all downsides. “It is completely clear unfortunately that Serbia will face great challenges and losses in both cases,” he explained.
