How many talks do they need for the same topic? You have no other problems in the country? I checked the current news (time: 20:38) of this webpage and among 16 reports 11 circle around Kosovo. And you still wonder why Serbia's economic situation is a mess? You are blinded by this topic. The world moves on, while you are stuck in countless (self-)discussions which bring zero results.

Walk away Serbia! Work on a lasting solution, not imposed. More than half the world population supports you.

I think we all know that the spineless Serbian government will capitulate under EU/German blackmail!It's a shame.

Hold out gents against the enormous " pressure !". It is a free trade agreement your negotiating; surely not worth selling99 your' culture and heritage for?

Whatever the decision is, they will be called traitors. By the same people who have brought Serbia into this position.

Who the f is translating this sh.t from Albanian to Serbian and then to English. It's amazing to see the video in Albanian and then come here on B92 the next day and find out that what was said in the video is the opposite of what B92 writes. The usual Serb buys it without a question and voila we found the enemy of the state and as always it happens to be an Albanian. Look closer, look at your own. I am no fan of Thaci but it is obvious these "mis- translations" are done on purpose. Your higher ups have nowhere to hide so let's create a scapegoat for their own failures. Thaci actually said that this "no deal" is going to hurt both sides and keep them from advancing.

Serbia should just walk away from this whole thing. They should remove Kosovo from it's constitution and just forget it. They are just acting as negotiators for Kosovo Serbs anyway. It's wrong though that Serbia is seen as controlling all the Serbs of north Kosovo. When it agreed to put customs agents on the border that was it!! Just forget it!!

I think you are wrong. If Serbia makes the break with Kosovo it will be free to focus on advancing Serbia and making a life for Serbs. It will open the door to investments, and grants. If Serbia does not then they will at least temporarily beomce isolated and investments and money will be remarkably reduced, it will cause internal conflicts and chaos.
It will also cause the fence riders internationally to climb off the fence and most likely more recognitions for Kosovo in the near future.

On the other hand, an agreement means for Kosovo, a door to the future investments, a green light toward Europe but with an internal conflict escalated at least initially. But that conflict will not have external support.
If the agreement is rejected, the EU/US is going to see a need to separate Kosovo and Serbia completely. Energy wasted on Serbia over the last few years to get it to make a voluntary move will now be focused on Kosovo. Because the way forward will be to make Kosovo as strong as possible. You will probably see a surge of agreements between Kosovo and other countries to highlight that the road to Kosovo does not flow through Serbia.
I would also expect an initial increase in Kfor as a signal to Serbia that the mandate to protect Kosovo is still in force and is taken seriously.

A military takeover of the north will not solve anything. If anything it will make things worse. Serbs and albanians will be even further appart. Serbia is even less likely to recognize Kosovo or develop any good relations with albanians. The situation in Presevo will also be strained. And who will shelter the thousands of serbs who will be forced to flee the north? Serbs will be even less likely to let go of Kosovo and serbs will be even more anti Eu and more pro Russia, which is something the Eu and America don't want. You simply cannot expell a people from their own territory just because they don't want to be part of something that is out to get them. A quick takeover might be successful in the short term but what then? Will Eulex/Kps remain in a place where people see them as hostile occupiers? An attack on peaceful protesters will cause new tensions and even new conflicts. Is the west willing to risk that?

Please choice Kosovo make referendum and 80% of the Serbs will choice Kosovo,forget the EU(NATO) and turn to Russia and set Russian military bases around Serbia.Kosovo is the identity of the Serbian nation,without Kosovo Serbia is capitulated,Serbia has born to fight and have survived for centuries against the invaders and have never submitted.
