Serbian dinar strengthens by 0.5 percent
The Serbian dinar continued its rise against the euro for the fifth day in a row on Thursday, increasing in value by 0.5 percent or RSD 0.56.

BELGRADE The Serbian dinar continued its rise against the euro for the fifth day in a row on Thursday, increasing in value by 0.5 percent or RSD 0.56. The official middle exchange rate is today RSD 114.1212 for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release. Serbian dinar strengthens by 0.5 percent The dinar is now 1.9 percent stronger against the euro compared to a month ago. Year-on-year, it is down by 11.2 percent. According to official data, this year the dinar hit its lowest value against the euro on August 9, at the rate of RSD 119.0723 for one euro, and the strongest on January 11, when one unit of the hard currency was worth RSD 103.6922. On Wednesday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate was 88.5828, up by 0.7 percent against a day earlier, stopping the two-day slide against the U.S. currency.
