Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic will attend the Prayer Breakfast in the U.S. on Feb. 2, the Serbian Embassy in Washington said. According to this, they will be joined Minister for Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic and Serbian Renewal Party leader Vuk Draskovic. Jeremic and Dacic to attend Washington event The Prayer Breakfast will be held in Washington in the presence of U.S. President Barack Obama, U.S. political and military representatives, and honored guests from across the world. The central event is a speech given by the American president and one of the guests, whose identity is kept secret until the last moment. The whole event is a series of meetings with congressmen, thematic conferences and seminars with participants from the whole world. The traditional Prayer Breakfast was established in 1953 under President Dwight Eisenhower, who brought together a group of congressmen for an event whose goal was to help overcome the divisions existing in American society at the time.
