Election silence fell at midnight ahead of Sunday’s presidential vote. The second round of the election will be a run-off between Democratic Party candidate Boris Tadic and the Serb Radical Party’s Tomislav Nikolic. Election silence falls 6,723,763 citizens altogether are entitled to vote. There will be a total of 8481 polling stations. Since the first round of the elections, a further 20,000 people have registered to vote, and an extra 1.4 percent of ballot papers will be printed in case of emergencies.
