Real GDP growth in first quarter reaches 3.5 pct
In the first quarter of 2016, Serbia's real GDP grew 3.5 percent y-o-y, according to a flash estimate by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS).

Real GDP growth in first quarter reaches 3.5 pct
In 2015, GDP grew 0.8 percent. The 2016 budget projected growth of 1.75 percent, which is now expected to be higher.The European Commission yesterday raised the GDP growth forecast for Serbia for the whole of 2016 by 0.4 percentage points, from the previous 1.6 percent to 2.0 percent.
According to the European Commission forecasts, Serbia's economy is expected to grow 2.5 percent in 2017.
