Public debt-GDP ratio reaches 57.5 percent
Serbia's public debt to gross domestic product ratio grew from 55.4 to 57.5 percent in October, the Public Debt Administration reported.

BELGRADE Serbia's public debt to gross domestic product ratio grew from 55.4 to 57.5 percent in October, the Public Debt Administration reported. The government agency said on its website that the major reason for the ratio increase was the reopening of a one-billion-dollar Eurobond, which matures in September 2021. Public debt-GDP ratio reaches 57.5 percent In October, Serbia issued dinar-denominated debt securities worth RSD 21.57 billion, and EUR 47.66 million's worth of euro-denominated securities. On the last day of October, Serbia's debt amounted to EUR 16.59 billion, compared to the late September public debt of EUR 15.85 billion.
