BELGRADE Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic says the entire government is responsible for the increased permitted level of aflatoxin in milk. He added that Agriculture Minister Goran Knezevic was not the only one to blame. The LDP leader said that the government had sent a message to citizens that “people are less important than animals”. “Instead of a parliamentary session we requested and serious talks, analyses, we got cynicism and washing hands of political responsibility that all parties in the government need to assume,” Jovanovic stressed. He added that the “milk chaos” was not a surprise bearing in mind that “chaos and irresponsibility are the main features of the characterless policy the government has been leading for months”.
