Victory Day in Moscow: "No force can enslave Russian people"

"The lessons of the past invite us to be careful," said Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that the Russian Army can reject any attack and respond to any threat.

As he said, Russia is open for cooperation and is always on the side of the forces of peace.

"The events of the past impose on us a great responsibility before the future generations, to convey the spirit of the great victory to them, and ensure peace and stability," added the Russian president.

Putin said his country is ready to cooperate with the international community in fighting against terrorism, extremisms and neo-Nazism, and urged the international community to consolidate in that fight.

About 10,000 soldiers marched on Red Square this Tuesday.
