The opposition has called a nationwide strike from Monday, reported Reuters, and said it was "not immediately clear what support this was receiving in state concerns or private businesses across the country." General strike had been declared in the town of Lvov, in western Ukraine. "What has been happening in recent days in Kiev is cause for serious concern for the future of our country. Political and economic stability, territorial integrity and the constitutional basis of the system are in danger," said a statement of the Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said yesterday that in a few days a Ukrainian delegation would go to Brussels in order to continue negotiations on the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU.
