JALALABAD Five airport security guards and five Taliban militants were killed after gunmen attacked a U.S. airbase in Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan early on Sunday. The attackers detonated two explosives-packed vehicles outside the airport entrance at approximately 6:00 while several others tried to break into the heavily-guarded base.
