MOSCOW A Russian Soyuz spaceship has lifted off for the International Space Station from a launch pad in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The rocket is carrying three veteran cosmonauts from Russia, Japan and the U.S. Russia launches Soyuz rocket into orbit The spaceship is due to berth early on Tuesday with the EUR 80bn ISS research facility that orbits 385 kilometers above earth. Crew members Suni Williams, Aki Hoshide and Yuri Malenchenko will stay in space for four months. (Beta) EuroNews
