A man was killed in front of a polling station in Fervenca, Portugal, reports said this Sunday. A candidate in the local elections currently under way has been named as the suspect. Portugal: Man killed at polling station A spokesman for the regional Portuguese Gendarmerie told reporters that the suspect shot and killed his victim at the entrance to the polling station. His identity has not been revealed, but police said he was on the run. According to the investigation thus far, political differences appear to have been the motive for the murder. The victim was close to the suspect's political rival, police said.
