People leaving the country by car are advised to leave early and expect long waits at the borders. There are waits of about three hours heading into Hungary, however, the roads in Serbia are generally not crowded, only the borders. Waits at borders expected for travelers There are not even long lines at the highway toll stops, however, they are expected to increase in the evening. The long waits at the borders are being caused both by people returning from their vacations and people heading out on holiday. Most of the travelers coming through Serbia are those coming from or going back to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. According to travelers that B92 spoke with, the average wait to get into Serbia is in between 30 and 60 minutes. However, people leaving Serbia will have to wait for several hours at the border.
