Joachim Ruecker has asked the Decani municipal assembly to return and legalize ownership of land given to the High Decani monastery by the Serbian government. According to one of Beta’s sources who wished to remain anonymous, the former UNMIK chief sent the request to the municipal authorities in Decani on June 19, a day before stepping down from his post, and that decision is binding.
