A man armed with four hand grenades was arrested early Saturday on the train at the Slovenian-Croatian border, local media reported. The 65-year-old man, a former war veteran, allegedly planned to murder Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor. Croat vet "planned murder of Slovenian PM" He also tried to blow himself and the train up, but was overpowered by the Slovenian police which was tipped on his intentions. Local media report that the man was mentally ill and has been expelled several times from Germany. The train he was arrested on was travelling from Belgrade via Zagreb and Ljubljana to Zurich.
