More than half of Slovenians feel the effects of the recession in their everyday lives, while 48 percent are not affected by the crisis.

More than half of Slovenians feel the effects of the recession in their everyday lives, while 48 percent are not affected by the crisis. This is according to a survey in March by the Association for Marketing, which also shows that 0.2 percent of Slovenians claim that they do not know whether they feel any negative effects of the crisis. Slovenians feel effects of crisis The survey, which included 1,000 people, showed that one percent of those interviewed had lost their jobs, 22 percent expect to be made redundant soon, while 65 percent believe that their jobs are safe. Six percent of those surveyed believe that their jobs will be even more secure in the future, two percent believe that their jobs are already very secure, while four percent did not answer the question. Because of the recession, the wages of 22 percent of the people surveyed have been decreased, 17 percent said that their wages will drop soon, and 48 percent do not expect any changes, while seven percent expect that their wages will improve. Four percent of those surveyed claim that their wages have already increased, while one percent did not answer the question.
