Cooperation between the police forces of Serbia and Montenegro is "exceptionally good," Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has said.

"Exceptionally good police cooperation with Montenegro"

These teams should be composed of representatives of the police and prosecutors, and other institutions necessary for a strong fight against organized crime, the minister said, according to the Serbian government.

Stefanovic "underlined that the police of Serbia and Montenegro have a daily exchange of information on the tasks related primarily to countering organised crime and smuggling and preventing terrorism.2

Nuhodzic stated that "even stronger everyday communication and exchange of information between the police of the two countries is needed in order to show to the organized crime that the states of Serbia and Montenegro are stronger than them, their plans and ideas."
