Trade-Union Members Continued Roadblock near Jarinje Trade-unions’ representatives of ten companies in Leposavic owned by Serbia and the employed at the National Park Strpce-Sar planina blocked the Kosovska Mitrovica – Raska road in town Donje Jarinje on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., requesting payment of the lagging salaries, electronic media reported. Trade-unions announced on August 6 that they would continue the blockage of the highway in Donje Jarinje on August 14, 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. unless the lagging salaries were paid within a week from then. Trade-unions’ representatives said that from August 20 they would block the road for 24 hours unless the requests were met. A member of the protest’s Organization Committee Milomir Perovic said that no one had addressed the unions in the past seven days and that they had been forced to solve their problems in such a way.
