Serbia and Austria have signed an agreement for cooperation in the fields of science and technology in Vienna. The agreement would enable more join technological projects and initiatives, according Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic. Science agreement signed in Vienna The agreement was signed by Djelic and Austrian Science and Research Minister Beatrix Karl. “Austria is an important partner for Serbia in many fields, it is also the largest investor in Serbia,” Djelic said adding that Serbia sees Austria as a priority partner. Karl said that this agreement would enable scientists to increase cooperation, adding that there are 13 agreement between Austrian and Serbian universities, which is proof of the high level cooperation between Serbia and Austria. While in Vienna, Djelic also visited several leading science institutes in Austria, including the Austrian Institute of Science and Technology, and met with scientists of Serbian nationality who live and work in Austria.
