The Interim Trade Agreement between Serbia and the EU could be unfrozen on Monday, says Tanja Miscevic. Miscevic, former head of the government's EU Integration Office, told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik that this could take place at a meeting of EU foreign ministers tomorrow, or on June 19, when this organization's head of state or governments meet. Unfreezing of interim deal on Monday? The trade deal is part of the SAA – which the EU signed with Serbia over a year ago and suspended immediately, pending Belgrade's full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. "The time is right for the Interim Agreement to be unfrozen," she told the newspaper, stressing that she is optimistic on this issue, "considering what was said in the Dutch parliament, and the tone of the Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz's report".

Unfreezing of interim deal on Monday?

The trade deal is part of the SAA – which the EU signed with Serbia over a year ago and suspended immediately, pending Belgrade's full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal.

"The time is right for the Interim Agreement to be unfrozen," she told the newspaper, stressing that she is optimistic on this issue, "considering what was said in the Dutch parliament, and the tone of the Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz's report".
