Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac is visiting the Cepotina army base construction site near Bujanovac, in southern Serbia. Sutanovac expressed his satisfaction over the quality of works at the base Cepotina, due to be completed by the end of fall. Defense chief tours base in south Following his tour of the facility, he told reporters that the base is planned to accommodate several hundred professional army members and that its construction cost RSD 1.3 billion. Sutanovac also underscored that the Defense Ministry's wish was to provide professional army members with top-quality accommodation and best standards. The base covers an area of 35 hectares and since it is close to the administrative line with Kosovo and Corridor 10, it is of strategic importance for the security of that part of Serbia.
