Businessman Beko denies he knows who shot him

Milan Beko, <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes.php?yyyy=2014&mm=11&dd=14&nav_id=92255" class="text-link" target= "_blank">who was wounded in November</a>, has denied that he knows who shot him and that he is withholding this information from investigators.

Businessman Beko denies he knows who shot him

"I absolutely have nothing to hide, I am fully cooperating with the police in solving this crime and I have faith in the work of the police, so I believe the attacker will be found and brought to justice," he said in a written statement.

According to Beko, media reports that claim he is refusing to cooperate and tell investigators everything he knows about the attempted murder "exceptionally offend his honor and reputation."

He added it was also not true that he changed his original statement in any part, or that he refused to answer any question the police asked him.

"It is untrue that I in any way refused to cooperate with the police," Beko wrote.

The businessman concluded by saying that he was "not authorized" to reveal any details of the case, or "comment on it in any way," in order to avoid jeopardizing the investigation.
