Police spokesman arrested for endangering safety

Later in the day, a judge decided they should be held in custody for a month.

This decision was explained by the possibility that the two suspects could repeat the crime.

A statement issued by the prosecution said that Počuča was suspected of endangering safety when he used his Facebook account to urge football hooligans to attack members of the Women in Black NGO.

Ivanović is suspected of racial and other discrimination because he published a list on the organization's website that contained the names of 30 public figures described as "Serb haters and traitors."

The gesture was condemned by Ombudsman Saša Janković, Equality Commissioner Neven Petrušić, B92, and many NGOs and parties.
