On this day 11 years ago, 12 internally displaced Serbs from Kosovo died when a mine planted in the road exploded under their bus. The Nis Express bus traveling to the Serb enclave of Gracanica was targeted on a road near the village of Livadice, Podujevo, in Kosovo. 11 years since Kosovo attack that killed 12 The passengers were traveling to visit the graves of their loved ones on All Souls Day (Zadusnice), on February 16, 2001. The six buses in the convoy were escorted by KFOR soldiers.
