If released from the Hague Tribunal detention, Vojislav Seselj will be questioned about political background of PM Zoran Djindjic’s murder, daily Blic writes. He will allegedly be questioned about all of his contacts with the people who later killed the prime minister, the daily has learned. Daily: Seselj to be questioned about PM’s murder In a pre-trial procedure Seselj will be asked about his statement that “the spring in Serbia is going to be bloody” which he made before he left for The Hague in February of 2003, the daily reports, quoting unnamed sources. Djindjic was assassinated on March 12 the same year. Criminal charges were raised against Seselj for instigation to murder, but he did not stand trial because he was detained at the Hague tribunal. He was questioned by Special Court in Belgrade investigative judge Vucko Mircic in the Hague Tribunal detention unit in August 2003. However, Seselj was not questioned in the light of the new circumstances and pieces of evidence which had been collected later, Blic writes adding that witness associate Dejan Milenkovic aka Bagzi mentioned his name in his testimony. Zemun gang member Milos Simovic also spoke about the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader’s contacts with the gang leader Dusan Spasojevic, who was arrested last year. The daily points out that the Serbian prosecution said that Seselj was not under any investigation.
