Soil samples from a location near the town of Raska, in southern Serbia, will be taken for analysis this Thursday. The site is a suspected mass grave that could contain the bodies of ethnic Albanians killed in the 1999 war. According to sources, such an analysis could as soon as today confirm or reject the ethnic Albanian witnesses' claims, who said the location was a secondary grave that contained the remains of 250 victims. EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, representatives are also present there today. The digging at the site will be up to six meters deep, said reports.
