According to Greek daily Ekathimerini, two Serbs were arrested in Athens on the suspicion of belonging to a drug smuggling group. The two Serbs are suspected of belonging to a group that was smuggling cocaine from Peru to Montenegro, the daily writes. Greek daily: Two Serbs arrested for cocaine smuggling The Greek police have been working for five months in cooperation with the U.S. police in order to stop shipments of drugs coming over to Greece in luxury yachts. The Serbs, 25 and 28 years old, were arrested on Friday, after two undercover Greek officers gave them two suitcases with 20 kilograms of cocaine in them which American police officers supplied while posing as the owners of a company that rents out yachts, the daily stated. The Greek government believes that the arrested Serbs were able to smuggle 150 kilograms of cocaine this year. The daily also claims that there are investigations ongoing in Serbia regarding these two suspects.
