Police arrest 8 members of crime group
The Serbian police (MUP) officers arrested eight members of a criminal group that operated in several towns of Serbia and Bosnia.

The Serbian police (MUP) officers arrested eight members of a criminal group that operated in several towns of Serbia and Bosnia. B92 has learned that police raided locations in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Loznica and Nis during the night and morning, to make the arrests. Police arrest 8 members of crime group The police identified those arrested as: Bosnian citizen Dalibor M., 37, from Sarajevo, Dejan S., 28, Svetislav L., 37, both residents of Nis in southern Serbia, Zoran M., 29, Bojan M., 26, from Loznica and Zvornik respectively, both towns in western Serbia, and Dragan P., 50, from Belgrade, who holds a dual Serbian-Bosnian citizenship. The eighth detainee, a man believed to be a Bosnian national, and identified with initials V.M., is said to still be undergoing "identity checks". The group is believed to have committed robberies in Serbia, Bosnia, and other European countries. Four members of the gang were arrested in the early hours of Friday as they tried to rob a local Loznica businessman. Police also said they confiscated three pistols, a revolver, silencers, a kilogram of plastic explosives, balaclavas, surgical gloves and other items that they believe the suspects used as they committed the felonies.
