The driver of the car that crashed last weekend, killing SPS official Borka Vucic, has been arrested. Dejan Blagojevic is suspected of causing the deadly traffic accident that also resulted in the death of another woman traveling in the car. Driver in crash that killed SPS official arrested Serbian police (MUP) suspect that Blagojevic lost control of his Skoda Fabia due to speeding, state broadcaster RTS reports. The Belgrade-Nis highway crash on August 1 saw the car break through a protective barrier and enter the opposite lane. All passengers fell out of the vehicle on impact, after which it turned over and burned. The suspect suffered minor injuries. Vucic, a Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) veteran, known as "Milosevic's banker", was laid to rest in Belgrade on Tuesday.
