Central bank sells EUR 10mn at end of week

The Serbian dinar (RSD) gained 0.1 percent against the euro (EUR) on Friday after the NBS sold EUR 10mn on the interbank foreign exchange market on Thursday.

Central bank sells EUR 10mn at end of week

The national currency dropped by 1.0 percent against the eurozone currency compared to a month ago and by 0.3 percent compared to a year ago.

The dinar-to-dollar indicative exchange rate grew by 2.7 percent to RSD 111.6766.

The dinar dropped by 1.7 percent against the US currency compared to a month ago and by 12.0 percent compared to a year ago.

The dinar hit its 2015 low on January 29, when one euro was worth RSD 123.57, reaching its highest rate this year on October 1, when the exchange rate was at RSD 119.8792.
