The French company VINCI is interested in acquiring Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport, the Belgrade-based daily Politika reports in its Wednesday issue.

VINCI already manages 23 airports in France, Portugal, and Cambodia. In early September, the company lost a bid to acquire a majority stake in Ljubljana's international airport to Germany’s Fraport, Politika reported.Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić said on Tuesday that his French counterpart Manuel Valls, who will arrive here tomorrow, will be accompanied by a business delegation "ready to invest in Serbia," and added that "Serbia is interested the most in building another runway and expanding the Belgrade airport's capacities."
