Cvetković: Economy will recover in 2010

PM Mirko Cvetkovic said on Friday that “a recovery and a mild growth of the economy are expected this year.” Cvetkovic told members of the business community gathered at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) today that the government stands by its position to maintain the economic stability of the country and not to bring down what has already been accomplished. Cvetkovic: Economy will recover in 2010 “I would like to tell businessmen that better times and a simplified economic system are ahead of them”, Cvetkovic said and added that he hopes there will be even more competition among companies in 2010. Speaking about the awards, which are traditionally given out by the National Business Journalists Club every year, the prime minister said they are important because they recognize business achievements in a year of economic crisis. The ceremony was also attended by RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik, who was awarded the Golden Plaque for economic results achieved in RS.
